INSTRUCTIONS TO FOLLOW

The intent is to staff two (2) positions on an indeterminate basis at Crown-Indigenous Relations and Northern Affairs Canada (CIRNAC). A pool of partially or fully qualified candidates may also be established to staff similar or identical positions at Crown-Indigenous Relations and Northern Affairs Canada (CIRNAC) and Indigenous Services Canada (ISC) with various linguistic profiles as well as tenures (term or indeterminate), location across Canada and/or with various security requirements (reliability or secret), which may vary according to the position being staffed.

EDUCATION:
A secondary school diploma or employer-approved alternatives.
NOTE:
The employer-approved alternatives to a secondary school diploma are:
- satisfactory results on the test approved by the Public Service Commission as an alternative to a secondary school diploma; or
- an acceptable combination of education, training and/or experience.
EXPERIENCE:
• Experience in preparing and reviewing administrative documentation related to financial or human resources activities
• Experience in providing administrative support services
EXPERIENCE:
• Experience working in a Business Management Unit.
• Experience supporting a Minister’s office.
OPERATIONAL REQUIREMENTS:
• Willing and able to do overtime on short notice.
Various language requirements
The positions to staff are Bilingual BBB/BBB. However, the pool could be used to staff positions with various language requirements*: Bilingual CBC/CBC, CCC/CCC.
* In exceptional circumstances, Bilingual non-imperative appointments (with various levels) may be approved.
