ESSENTIAL EDUCATION
Graduation with a degree from a recognized post-secondary institution, with acceptable specialization in physics, geology, chemistry, or some other science relevant to the position. The courses for the specialization must be acceptable and must have been taken at a recognized post-secondary institution, but not necessarily within a degree program in the required specialization

ESSENTIAL EXPERIENCE
For both PC-03 and PC-04
E1. Experience conducting environmental site assessments and environmental site remediation.
E2. Experience dealing with federal or provincial or territorial regulatory authorities responsible for the environment.
E3. Experience preparing or reviewing written correspondence as it relates to contaminated sites, which may include but is not limited to: Scopes of Work, Requests for Proposal, project synopsis reports and/or technical reports.
E4. Experience leading multi-disciplinary teams.
E5. Experience managing consultant teams or contractors.

ASSET EXPERIENCE
AE1. Experience conducting human health and ecological risk assessments associated with federal contaminated sites.
AE2. Experience working with Canadian Armed Forces Bases and Wings.
AE3. Experience in the assessment and management of per- and polyfluoroalkyl substances (PFAS) contaminated sites.
AE4. Experience entering data into the Defence Resource Information Management System (DRMIS).
AE5. Experience reporting on remediation liabilities related to contaminated sites.
AE6. Experience working on contaminated sites in the North (Yukon, Northwest Territories and Nunavut).
