Duties

Responsibilities:
Communicating with sex offender (via phone/email)
Entering, updating, modifying offender records on the NSOR database
Conducting tactical queries on the NSOR database
Conducting Breach of SOIRA investigations
Opening, updating, modifying PROS file relating the NSOR/SOIRA

Intent of the process

The immediate need is to staff one position on an indeterminate basis., (including acting appointments and deployments) .

A pool of qualified candidates may be established to staff similar temporary, and/or permanent positions.

Should a Civilian Member (CM) be found qualified and selected for appointment, the appointment will not result in a change of status to the Public Service (PS) category for the CM. Information regarding the CM appointment will be sent to all applicable candidates who are within the area of selection and participated in the advertised process

A secondary school diploma or employer-approved alternatives

Degree equivalency

Experience providing service to internal or external clients / general public, via telephone, in writing or in person.
Experience conducting research, analyzing information, extracting pertinent details and summarizing data.
Experience in using spreadsheet and word processing software.
Experience in inputting, extracting, compiling and processing data utilizing information databases.
Experience in providing administrative services, including preparing correspondence and reports.

Experience in maintaining data within Canadian Police Information Centre (CPIC)
Experience in maintaining data within Police Reporting and Occurrence System (PROS)

Top Secret security clearance - of the RCMP.
