The successful candidate will work with the supervisor and team of researchers to help develop an inventory of co-seismic landslides triggered by the 1946 Comox earthquake, and associated co-seismic landslide susceptibility map for Vancouver Island.
The intention is to staff one student position for the completion of a doctorate degree at Simon Fraser University.

Your résumé.
• Currently enrolled or willing to enroll at Simon Fraser University, in a PhD program, specializing in Earth Sciences.
In the context of student recruitment in the federal public service, experience can be acquired through studies, work experience or volunteer activities:
• Experience in field and desktop-based terrain mapping.
• Experience in landslide identification and hazard assessment.
• Experience with geographic information systems.
• Experience preparing scientific reports.
