Intent of the process

The intent of this process is to fill one (1) position on a term (temporary) basis in Toronto, ON

❗❗ This is a two (2) year term opportunity, with the possibility of becoming indeterminate (permanent).

❗❗ Full time on-site (office setting) work will be required. The position is currently located at 215 Yonge Blvd, North York, ON.

A pool of candidates may be established and may be used to staff future vacancies in various locations with various employment tenures, language profiles, security requirements and conditions of employment.

EX1. Experience in audiovisual equipment maintenance as well as experience in testing individual AV components and integrated room systems.
EX2. Experience in monitoring equipment performance and assisting in moderating during live events.
EX3. Experience in training individuals and small groups on use of software and hardware.
EX4. Experience troubleshooting setup and performance issues in IT based systems.
EX5. Experience in general computer operating systems

ASSET EDUCATION

AEd1. Completion of a current Community College Diploma (minimum two years) in electronics technology.
AEd2. Extron training/certifications CTS and CTI.

AEX1. Experience with multimedia software, such as MS Teams, Zoom, Panopto, and Pearl streaming.
AEX2. Experience using Extron products, including troubleshooting and programming skills.
AEX3. Experience with Dante systems.
AEX4. Experience with audiovisual systems design.
AEX5. Experience with audio tech.
AEX6. Experience with Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL).
AEX7. Experience in using professional grade equipment, such as cameras, lights, microphones, sound mixer, and video switcher.
AEX8. Experience in IT and networking.
