If you need to be accommodated during any phase of the evaluation process, please use the Contact information below to request specialized accommodation. All information received in relation to accommodation will be kept confidential.

Assessment accommodation

When you apply to this selection process, you are not applying for a specific job, but to an inventory for future vacancies. As positions become available, applicants who meet the qualifications may be contacted for further assessment.

When submitting your application, you must answer questions regarding the education and experience requirements (both essential and asset qualifications). You must clearly demonstrate how you meet each of these requirements by answering the online questions. Rather you must clearly demonstrate when (month-year to month-year), where and how you acquired each qualification by giving concrete examples. Information provided in your answers related to your education and experience must be supported in your resume. Failure to provide the above information in the format required may result in your application being rejected from the process. The information you provide in the questionnaire must be true. Plagiarism or using unauthorized tools such as artificial intelligence will result in failure of the merit criterion being assessed.

Work environment

Elections Canada offers a hybrid work model which permits telework in most situations. However, employees are expected to work onsite at least 2 days per week (or a minimum of 40% of their working schedule). This includes one fixed day onsite for all employees of the same team and one flexible day (i.e. not fixed) at an onsite location. Work arrangements outside of this model will be considered on an exceptional basis only.
