Eligibility

You are eligible for this program if you meet these 3 requirements:

•You are a full-time student in a post-secondary institution
•You are enrolled in an academic program that requires research as part of your curriculum
•You meet the minimum age required in the province/territory of work

This includes students with physical or emotional disabilities deemed to have full-time status by their academic institution. In order to be considered, your application must clearly explain how you meet the following (essential qualifications)

Successful completion of a Bachelor Program in a recognized post-secondary Canadian academic institution with specialization in Analytical Chemistry.

Degree equivalency

Experience in separation of metals by ion exchange resins.
Experience in sample preparation and metals analysis using ICP-MS.
Experience in maintaining quality control to ensure sample integrity.

The following will be applied / assessed at a later date (essential for the job)

English or French

Information on language requirements

Experience in extraction and analytical method for actinides analysis.
Experience using digestion protocols for inorganic chemical analysis.
Experience working within research teams.

Knowledge of radioprotection method
Knowledge of metals separation method by ion exchange.
Knowledge of Inductively Coupled Mass Spectrometer (ICP-MS) analytical techniques.
