When you apply to this inventory, you are applying for various potential casual opportunities, not for a specific one. In the event there is a staffing need for a group and level (EC or PM) listed above, applications may be extracted from this inventory and submitted to the hiring managers. Only the applicants whose interests and experience align with a manager's needs may be contacted.
The majority of our positions are located in Ottawa, with a number of positions in Montreal. INFC is assessing its presence in other geographic locations and may expand its office space to a few more areas in Canada, including Toronto and Vancouver. In accordance with INFC’s hybrid work model, employees hired within their position’s geographic work location are required to work on-site 40% of each month (ex. approximately 2 days a week). On a case-by-case basis, telework agreements may be considered to advance regional presence beyond these cities.
Please carefully review the questions & answers and definitions at the bottom of this poster prior to submitting your application.

QUESTIONS & ANSWERS:
Q. I had already applied to a previous inventory. Do I still have to apply to this inventory?
A. Yes, since the previous inventories are no longer being used, we ask that you please apply to this new inventory. This new inventory has additional tools which will improve our applicant searches and hence improve your chances to find a new opportunity.
Q. As I complete the online application, I'm being asked many questions regarding my experience. Do I have to respond to them all? What will you do with my responses?
A. Yes, you need to respond to all of these questions with a simple yes or no. Your responses will determine the type of opportunities you may be considered for. Ensure your résumé supports your answers by describing your past accomplishments and experience.
Q. How do you conduct your searches from this inventory? Will you use random selection when conducting searches?
A. Searches are conducted based on responses to the experience questions. The system does not do a word search of your application, but it will be fully reviewed by the hiring manager to see if you are a right fit to be considered for their opportunity. We may limit searches to members of the Employment Equity groups or, to manage high volume, we may use random selection.
Q. Can I e-mail you my résumé?
A. All job applications, which include your résumé, must be submitted using the public service jobs web site. Should you require accommodations, you are strongly encouraged to contact us as soon as possible and prior to submission, in order for appropriate arrangements to be made.
Q. Will an interview be conducted?
A. If your application is selected, an interview may be conducted. Since this is for casual opportunities
and not for an appointment, the interview may be informal in nature and not based on specific merit criteria.
Q. Will you request references?
A. Yes, managers may request references, so you should be ready to provide references from supervisors, clients, colleagues or subordinates.
Q. Does my application expire?
A. 90 days after you submit your application, you will receive an e-mail notification of upcoming expiry. In order to remain in the inventory, please log into your GC Jobs account and resubmit your application. At any time before the poster closing date, you may retrieve your submission and modify your application with new information. If your application expires, do not fret - you can submit a new application at any point before the poster closing date!
