Intent of the process

The intent of this process is to fill five (5) indeterminate positions in the following locations:

- Montreal, QC
- Gagetown, NB
- Ottawa, ON
- Toronto, ON

This process may also be used to fill other current and future vacancies in various locations with various employment tenures and language profiles within the department of National Defence.

In order to be considered, your application must clearly explain how you meet the following (essential qualifications)

A degree from a recognized post-secondary institution or acceptable combination of education, training and/or experience.

Based on their education, training and/or experience, indeterminate incumbents of positions in the IS classification are deemed to meet the minimum education standard whenever a bachelor’s degree without specialization is called for in a position classified as IS.

At the manager’s discretion, an acceptable combination of education, training and/or experience, may serve as an alternative to the minimum education standard.

Degree equivalency

Experience writing communications plans and products.

Experience coordinating communications activities (virtual or in-person).

Experience providing communications services to clients.
