Intent of the process

A pool of fully or partially qualified candidates may be established through this process to staff identical or similar positions at Natural Resources Canada and in the Federal Public Service with various tenures (determinate period or indeterminate), to staff positions with various language requirements, various security requirements, various conditions of employment and for various locations.

• A secondary school diploma or employer-approved alternatives.

Employer-approved alternatives to a secondary school diploma:
- a satisfactory score on the PSC test approved as an alternative to a secondary school diploma; or
- an acceptable combination of education, training and/or experience.

Degree equivalency

- Providing administrative support services in areas such as information management.
- Planning, developing and implementing the information management system
- Planning, developing and providing training to staff
- Providing monitoring, tracking and reporting on science projects status
- Supporting business activities such as preparing agreements for external and internal clients, entering project information and tracking project status
