POSITION LOCATION / WORK ARRANGEMENT:
This position is located in Ottawa. However, the successful candidate may report to the Ottawa, Toronto, Montreal or Vancouver office for in-office work.

Due to the nature of the work and operational requirements, this position requires physical presence (in-office work) from one of the following OSFI offices across Canada Ottawa, Toronto, Montreal or Vancouver. The option of teleworking is available on a part-time basis in accordance with OSFI’s Guidelines on Telework. Teleworking arrangements are determined on a case-by-case basis depending on the nature of the work required by the position, the operational and business needs, as well as the candidate’s work preferences.

Duties

Duties:
OSFI is looking for a bright and talented individual to join our growing Privacy Program. If you are a service-oriented person who enjoys collaborating with team members, we hope to hear from you.

This position explores and expands on privacy practices within the government and private context. The Privacy Office specializes in several privacy practices from conducting privacy risk assessments; research and analysis; providing expect advice and recommend mitigating strategies on privacy; responding to allegations of privacy breaches; delivering departmental training; planning and coordinating campaigns; and working in partnership with our internal and external partners in Cyber Security, Security, Supervision, etc; in the delivery of the OSFI’s departmental Privacy Program services.

The duties of the position includes:

• Preparing and delivering training and information sessions
• Researching, analyzing and proving advice with mitigating strategies
• Conducting privacy risk assessments
• Conducting fact finding and investigating allegations of privacy breaches or complaints
• Planning, coordinating, and delivering annual campaigns and other communications / marketing activities
• Drafting reports, briefing notes, presentation then submitting and presentation to management and internal clients

Intent of the process
