Duties

Provide real property technical assistance, operational advice, and internal and external client services in the planning, design, construction, operation, maintenance and use of durable assets and managing their life cycle. Collaborate with customers and other stakeholders to develop the best solutions that meet their functional and operational needs as well as those related to quality and profitability.

MANDATORY BASIC EXPERIENCE:
EX-01: Experience using AutoCAD

EXPERIENCE IN AT LEAST ONE OR MORE OF THE FOLOWING AREAS OF EXPERTISE:
EX-02: Experience (Note 1) in the delivery of technical and specialized building-related guidance concerning mechanical, architectural or electrical systems.

Note 1:
Experience means approximately three months. Experience in an academic setting is acceptable.

EDUCATION:
AS-01: Post-secondary diploma in building systems technology (221-C0) or in a field related to the position to be filled.
AS-02: Post-secondary diploma in architectural technology (221.A0) or in a field related to the position to be filled.
AS-03: Post-secondary diploma in electrical technology (243-D0) or in a field related to the position to be filled.

Degree equivalency

OCCUPATIONAL CERTIFICATION:
• AS-04: Electricity license – License C

AS-05: Experience in building operation and maintenance

KN-01: Knowledge of the principles relating to the discipline for which you are applying (building mechanics, architecture or building electricity).
KN-02: General knowledge of the law and codes governing building mechanical, architectural or electrical such as the National Building Code, electrical code and ASHRAE standards, etc.

ABILITIES:
AB-01: Ability to read and interpret plans, drawings and technical specifications.
AB-02: Ability to perform technical surveys.
AB-03: Ability to analyze information and data, define options and make recommendations related to the discipline for which you are applying (mechanical, architectural or electrical).
