Duties

- Processes accounts payable;
- Processes purchase order payments;
- Verifies asset inventory;
- maintains/ inputs asset inventory records in SAP;
- Provides a variety of administrative support services as required;
- Covers reception as required.

Work environment

As a member of Corporate Management Branch this position will provide administrative support services at the Agassiz Research and Development Centre, located in Agassiz, British Columbia.

EDUCATION
A secondary school diploma OR an acceptable combination of education, training and/or experience.

Degree equivalency

EXPERIENCE
• Experience in providing advice, guidance and information to clients in a client service environment.
• Experience using Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.
• Experience in the acquisition of goods and/or services using at least one of the following procurement methods:
- Acquisition Card
- Local Purchase Order
- Service Contract
- Standing Offer Agreement

• Experience entering procurement data in an accounting system (ex: SAP, Procurify, Oracle, SaaS) and reconciling data for accuracy.

If you possess any of the following, your application must also clearly explain how you meet it (other qualifications)

ASSET QUALIFICATIONS - EXPERIENCE
• Experience in Asset inventory management.
• Experience in SAP modules: Plant Maintenance Module, Financial Accounting/Fixed Assets Directory or Materiel Management Module.
• Experience in material management and disposal of surplus goods.
