There is an immediate need to fill a position in Greenwood, NS.

A pool of candidates may be established and may be used to staff similar positions with various employment tenures, language profiles, security requirements and conditions of employment.

EDUCATION:
A secondary school diploma or an acceptable combination of education, training and/or experience

Degree equivalency

EXPERIENCE:
▶ Experience in conducting Environmental Site Assessments (ESA’s)
▶ Experience in collection of water or soil samples
▶ Experience in compiling and analyzing environmental data
▶ Experience performing different roles on environmental projects throughout the project implementation
▶ Experience using Geographic Information Systems (GIS)

OPERATIONAL REQUIREMENTS:
▶ Willingness and ability to work in a variety of situations, which may involve standing, climbing, walking, lifting and bending for extended periods

▶ Ability to operate and maintain various tools, equipment, and facilities
▶ Willingness and ability to obtain and maintain a military driver’s license (DND404)

▶ Willingness and ability to wear Personal Protective Equipment used in a construction environment
