Lethbridge Research and Development Centre is the 2nd largest RDC in Canada. The electrician will oversee and maintain a wide variety of electrical systems in a laboratory and farm setting, including: fire alarm, electrical distribution and building management systems. They will work individually and also as a part of a team to complete tasks and support the research and facility’s needs. The electrician will also be required to coordinate and oversee the work of contractors and have a thorough understanding of the Canadian Electrical Code to ensure installations are compliant.

• Ability and willingness to work overtime including evenings and weekends on an as required basis.

Reliability Status security clearance
Possession of a valid, class 5 Alberta driver’s license, or other provincial/territorial equivalency.
