👔 We’re looking for a digital communications expert to join our communications team and help chart the course for an engaging and informative digital presence. You will contribute your creative ideas while working with a team of professionals who take pride in the work they are doing to improve the lives of Canadians.
✨ With the transition to a hybrid model, employees work on-site at least two (2) days per week or 40% of their work week. An onsite day is not limited to a designated Infrastructure location, but may include a GC co-working site, a conference or business event, in-person training, stakeholder meetings, etc.

🎓 EDUCATION
ED1: A degree from a recognized post-secondary institution.
NOTE:
1. Based on their education, training and/or experience, indeterminate incumbents of positions in the IS classification are deemed to meet the minimum education standard whenever a bachelor's degree without specialization is called for in a position classified as IS.
2. At the manager's discretion, an acceptable combination of education, training and/or experience, may serve as an alternative to the minimum education standard.
📝 EXPERIENCE
EX1: Experience providing communications advice.
EX2: Experience in liaising with clients (internal or external), partners or stakeholders on communications products, services or initiatives.

EX3: Experience developing live action videos, animations, and/or stop motion videos.
EX4: Experience using video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Adobe After Effects, etc.

AEX1: Experience in overseeing large, multi-stage projects.
AEX2: Significant experience in html coding within a Government of Canada web environment.
AEX3: Experience developing content (including messaging, graphics and visuals or videos) for social media and Web, and contributing to the administration of official social media accounts and/or websites.
AEX4: Experience in researching, writing and/or editing a wide range of communications products according to best practices in either official language.
AEX5: Experience in developing digital communications plans or strategies and working with a team to implement them.
AEX6: Experience in producing, editing, and/or conceptualizing production-ready videos.
AEX7: Experience coordinating and/or conducting in-person video shoots with Ministers or other senior officials.
AEX8: Significant experience providing graphic design advice and services (for example: layout for publications, visuals for use on websites and social media, etc.).
* Significant is defined as having obtained a diverse range of experience normally acquired over a minimum of three (3) cumulative years.
