The intent of this process is to staff one (1) permanent position in Breton, Alberta. The selected candidate will be required to travel between the Breton and Thorsby Detachments.
A pool of qualified candidates may be established and used to staff similar permanent and/or temporary vacancies.
Should a Civilian Member (CM) be found qualified and selected for appointment, the appointment will not result in a change of status to the Public Service (PS) category for the CM. Information regarding the CM appointment will be sent to all applicable candidates who are within the area of selection and participated in the advertised process.

EDUCATION
- Successful completion of two years of secondary school or an acceptable combination of education, training and/or experience1

EXPERIENCE
- Experience in the provision of administrative support services including data entry, preparing correspondence plus one of the following: ordering office supplies, filing, or processing mail
- Experience in using MS Word, Excel and Outlook
- Experience providing service to internal AND external clients in person and/or in writing.
EXPERIENCE
- Experience providing administrative support services in a law enforcement and/or legal environment.
- Experience in maintaining a law enforcement database such as: Police Reporting Occurrence System (PROS) or Canadian Police Information (CPIC).
- Experience and/or training in providing financial support services such as the collection and recording of monies received, handling petty cash funds, verifying supplier invoices, preparing invoices.
- Experience in applying administrative policies, procedures or directives.
