We are seeking a Research Biologist with expertise and experience in the field of microbial molecular biology. The successful candidate will lead independent research projects under the expert guidance and implement existing and new projects focused on the improvement of symbiotic microorganisms.
We are seeking to fill ONE full-time CASUAL (90-working-day) contract with a start date as soon as possible.
This process is for casual employment only which is a temporary employment of 90 workings days or less in a calendar year.

Information on language requirements
• Graduation with a degree from a recognized post-secondary institution with specialization in a biological science.
• Experience providing technical support in a research laboratory environment focused on microbiological activities
• Experience planning and executing research activities related to microbial molecular biology such as DNA/RNA extraction, plasmid mobilization, gene cloning, gene expression, PCR, Western analysis, etc.
• Experience in genetic manipulation of microorganisms
• Experience preparing project reports and scientific manuscripts.

• A PhD degree from a recognized post-secondary institution in biological sciences.
Reliability Status security clearance
