EDUCATION:
Diploma with a degree from a recognized post-secondary institution in a field related to the position such as architecture, property management, public administration, business administration, business management, engineering, building technology, etc.
OR
An acceptable combination of education, training and/or experience
EXPERIENCE:
Significant* work experience related to Real Estate, in at least two (2) of the following areas:
a) Management of a real estate portfolio of rental, commercial and government office properties with respect to operations, maintenance and client services (owned or leased);
b) Management of projects and multidisciplinary teams (fit-up, improvements, base building);
c) Experience in financial management, work plans and forecast monitoring;
* “Significant" experience means that the applicant must clearly demonstrate experience in at least two (2) of the areas listed above, acquired in the field of office, government or institutional buildings, over a continuous period of approximately three (3) years over the last ten (10) years. Residential or sales experience is NOT eligible.

EDUCATION:
A1: University degree in business administration with specialization in real estate, architecture, engineering or other specialty relevant to this position.
PROFESSIONAL CERTIFICATION:
A-2: Professional Certification: Meet one or more of the requirements for eligibility for a professional designation recognized by the Department:
A-3 : Chartered Administrator (C. Adm)
A-4 : Chartered Appraiser (C.A.)

A-5 : Certified Property Manager (CPM)
A-6 : BOMA Real Property Administrator (RPA)
A-7 : BOMA Facilities Management Administrator (FMA)
A-8 : IFMA Certified Facilities Manager (CFM)

EXPERIENCE:
A-11: Experience in managing or supervising employees (maintenance, operations) or multidisciplinary project teams.
A-12: Experience in quality monitoring or tracking performance indicators related to building operation and maintenance or project management.
