This M.Sc. project, “Mineralization styles of orogenic gold systems in Newfoundland”, aims to understand how and why gold systems formed through time in the northeast-central Newfoundland Appalachians. The research will focus on mineralogical and chemical examination of new drill core from gold industry properties. The results will help active junior exploration companies understand the fundamental controls on gold mineralization.

The intention is to staff one student position for the completion of a Master of Science degree supervised by Dr. Stefanie Brueckner at University of Manitoba.
