OCCUPATIONAL CERTIFICATION
HP-06 only:
OC1 - Possession of a valid Third Class Operating Standardized Power Engineers Certificate
HP-03 and HP-04:
OC2 - Possession of a valid Forth Class Operating Standardized Power Engineers Certificate
EXPERIENCE
HP-03:
EX1 - A minimum of two (2) years experience with the maintenance and operation of high-pressure boilers, integral steam/hot water boilers, and related equipment in a Central Heating (steam plant) environment.
HP-04:
EX2 - A minimum of two (2) years experience with the monitoring of heating and other systems at remote sites and maintenance and operation of high pressure boilers, integral steam/hot water boilers and related equipment in a Central Heating (steam plant) environment.
HP-06:
EX3 - A minimum of three (3) year experience with the management, maintenance and operation of high pressure boilers, integral steam/hot water boilers and related equipment in a Central Heating (steam plant) environment.
ASSET EXPERIENCE
HP-06:
Experience in supervising.
Operational Requirements
- Willing and able to work shift work.
- Willing and able to work overtime as required.
- Must be able and willing to work in extreme weather conditions
- Work in confined spaces; work at heights and from ladders and scaffolding.
- Perform heavy lifting tasks.
- Must be able and willing to wear all appropriate personal protective equipment.
