Intent of the process

The initial intent of this process is to offer one indeterminate HP-02 position in Winnipeg (Canadian Forces Base 17 Wing), Manitoba and to create a pool future vacancies.

- Possession of a valid Provincial or Inter-provincial 4th Class Power Engineer certificate

Experience
- Recent experience in the field of high pressure steam production.
* Recent is defined as experience gained within the last (5) years.

- Must be in possession of a valid Provincial Class 5 driver’s licence.
- Willing and able to adjust work schedule to meet operational requirements as required;
- Willing and able to work overtime, shift, and be on call;
- Willing and able to work in adverse conditions/environments which may include, but not limited to, confined spaces, heights, and extreme weather conditions;
- Willingness and ability to obtain and maintain a departmental license DND 404;
- Willing and able to wear Personal Protection Equipment (PPE) or any other security protection.
