Who are we and what do we do?
(1426 St-Joseph) National Division Stores distribute operational equipment to support RCMP police operations in National Division on a daily basis. National Division Stores also provide logistical support for special and major events within the NCR, and operate a centralized store which carries a range of technical, operational and administrative supplies.
What will you be doing?
(1426 St-Joseph) National Division Stores are responsible for:
Distributing and tracking operational equipment issued to members on a daily basis (police vehicles, portable radios, restricted and non-restricted weapons, investigative tools, etc.);
Researching and procuring operational equipment from external suppliers for Protective Operations (with the exception of uniform clothing and kit);
Operating the RCMP Centralized Store and procuring a broad range of operational, technical and administrative supplies to maintain it;
Providing direct support to RCMP police operations within the NCR during special and major events, visits and training courses. This includes the preparation and distribution of equipment and the coordination of various services;

This Unit is self reliant and are able to work in a fast pace environment with requirements that may change at a moments notice. We strive to have an atmosphere of camaraderie, trust and professionalism. We can be deployed nationwide to support operations for major events.
The intent of the selection process is to staff one (1) term, Bilingual Imperative BBB/BBB position, with Enhanced Reliability Status with RCMP Top Secret security clearance. The position is located at 1426 St-Joseph Blvd, Orléans, ON. Please note that there will not be any remote work for these positions.
This selection process could also be used to staff similar positions within the RCMP, NCR.

Your résumé.
Successful completion of two years of secondary school or an acceptable combination of education, training and/or experience.
Experience in procurement (acquiring quotes, processing orders & receiving goods).
Experience providing customer service in a warehouse setting.
Experience in using computer software applications, such as but not limited to, MS Word, MS Excel and/or MS Outlook
Experience with inventory control : maintaining stock of supplies and equipment
Bilingual - Imperative (BBB/BBB)
Information on language requirements
Knowledge of safe lifting practices

Experience working in a warehouse for at least six (6) months during the past five (5) years.
Experience using computerized warehouse and inventory management systems.
(1200 Vanier) Enhanced reliability status with RCMP secret security clearance
(1426 St-Joseph) Enhanced reliability status with RCMP top secret security clearance
Willingness and ability to work variable 10 hour shifts (days, evenings, nights and weekends).
Must be able to lift a minimum of 20kg in accordance with safe lifting practices
Willing and able to work overtime, as needed, sometimes on short notice
Must possess and maintain a valid driver’s license
Willingness and ability to travel outside of the National Capital Region
Willingness to work with police intervention tools such as, but not limited to : firearms, tasers and/or pepper spray
