A pool of qualified candidates will be created to staff similar positions with various tenures (indeterminate, specified period, acting) in Yellowknife, Iqaluit or Whitehorse.

EDUCATION:
Graduation with a degree from a recognized post-secondary institution, with an acceptable specialization in economics, sociology, or statistics.

Note: Candidates must always have a degree. The courses for the specialization must be acceptable and may have been taken at a recognized post-secondary institution, but not necessarily within a degree program in the required specialization. The specialization may also be obtained through an acceptable combination of education, training, and/or experience.
If you do not have a degree in one of these three specializations, list clearly the courses you have taken or the experience that is related.

Degree equivalency

EXPERIENCE:
-Experience* analyzing complex policy issues related to wildlife management or socio-economic trends and developments.
-Experience* in coordinating and analyzing specialized information from multiple sources in order to formulate strategic advice and recommendations.
-Experience* in representing an organization in internal forums, interagency, or other fora.
-Experience* participating in multi-disciplinary or inter-sectional project teams.

*Experience is defined as having the depth and breadth of experience normally obtained over a period of at least one (1) year

ASSET EDUCATION:
Master’s degree from a recognized university in a field relevant to the position.

-Experience working with Indigenous People.
