A pool of candidates may be established through this process to staff identical or similar positions, within the Department of Public Services and Procurement Canada, with various security requirements and/or tenures.

In order to be considered, your application must clearly explain how you meet the following (essential qualifications)

EDUCATION:
• A secondary school diploma or a combination of education, training and/or experience.

Degree equivalency

EXPERIENCE:
• Experience in the general operation of grass cutting and snow removal equipment.
• Experience in the general operation of marine based equipment.
• Experience in the general operations of small engines such as chainsaws, trimmers and generators.

If you possess any of the following, your application must also clearly explain how you meet it (other qualifications)

ASSET QUALIFICATION

EXPERIENCE:
• Experience working at Heights.
• Completed a First Aid or cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) course.
• Possess a Pleasure Craft Operator Card.

• Knowledge of basic small engine maintenance.
• Knowledge of basic marine navigational regulation for small pleasure craft.

• Ability to safely complete labor support duties as directed.

Reliability Status security clearance

ADDITIONAL CONDITIONS OF EMPLOYMENT:
❑ Must be available to work overtime evening and weekend during Dam Operational Season.
❑ Must work at excessive heights above water, in high risk conditions, and in inclement weather, including physical functions such as on feet for long periods of time, climbing up and down ladders and lifting up to 50lbs and bending repeatedly.
