As an AS-01, you will be part of TC’s Compensation Advisor Developmental Program and will be supported in reaching the AS-02 working level.
In support of Transport Canada’s vision to restore confidence in pay, the Compensation Advisor Development Program (CADP) is a 28-month program that has been introduced to support employee progression to an AS-02 Compensation Advisor position. During the 28-month program, Compensation Advisor Trainees will learn to administer all aspects of employee pay and benefits.

Intent of the process

EX2: Recent* and significant** experience in the use of computer software programs (Outlook, Excel, Word).

** Significant experience is defined as a depth and breadth of experience normally associated with having performed a related duties for a minimum period of (1) year.

ASSET QUALIFICATIONS

Education
AED : Certificate/Diploma from a recognized post-secondary institution in the field of Accounting, or Finance, or Human Resources, or Administration.

Degree equivalency

A) Canadian Payroll Association
B) World at Work (e.g., Global Remuneration Professional, Certified Compensation Professional,
Certified Benefits Professional)
C) Certified Employee Benefit Specialist (e.g., Group Benefits Associate, Retirement Plans Associate, Compensation Management Specialist)

Experience
AEX1: Experience in working in the fields of Human Resources or Finance.

AEX2: Experience using the Phoenix pay system (beyond self-service).
