🚢 Fisheries and Oceans Canada is looking for dynamic and dedicated individuals to be part of our team of IT professionals from coast to coast. The intent of the process is to staff multiple IT Analyst vacancies in our application development teams.

🎓 Education
Graduation from a two-year program of study from a recognized post-secondary institution with acceptable specialization in computer science, information technology, information management or another specialty relevant to the position to be staffed.

Degree equivalency

✔️ Experience
A minimum of three (3) years of experience in application development using Java or .Net technologies for web applications.
A minimum of three (3) years of experience working as part of an application development team.
Experience in developing unit or integration tests for applications.

Asset Qualitifations

⚡️ Education
A diploma from a 3-year program offered by a recognized educational institution with specialization in computer science, computer engineering or any other field related to the position.
A bachelor's degree from a recognized educational institution with specialization in computer science, computer engineering or any other field related to the position.

Degree equivalency

⚡️ Experience
Experience in application development using Angular or REACT.
Experience in application development using Java Spring.
Experience working as part of an Agile Scrum team.
Experience leveraging Microsoft Azure or Amazon AWS services for applications hosted in the Cloud.
Experience with the Government of Canada’s IT Security Assessment and Authorization process for software applications.
Experience with relational or unstructured databases.
Experience in providing maintenance and support for applications.
