Have you finalized your new year's resolution? Is it taking the next leap in your career? If yes, then we have news for you!

The Government of Canada is looking for talented professionals to join our ranks in the fight against climate change. We must fill critical roles in designing climate action interventions, such as designing policies, regulations and funding programs, implementing existing programs to catalyze decarbonization, and working on various climate-related assignments. If you have experience working on climate action in any capacity (for example, as a project manager, analyst, economist, scientist, engineer, or social scientist) or in any sector (for example, in private, public, or non-profit) - we are looking for you!

This is a unique opportunity to apply for a competition from which ten federal departments would select candidates for staffing. The departments are: - Agriculture and Agri-Food Canada - Crown-Indigenous Relations and Northern Affairs Canada - Employment and Social Development Canada - Environment and Climate Change Canada - Indigenous Services Canada - Infrastructure Canada - Innovation, Science and Economic Development Canada - Natural Resources Canada - Transport Canada.

We are hiring for long-term and short-term positions, so this might be an opportunity for you to either join the public service or serve Canada for a few years while gaining unique experience and insights. Information sessions are available to give an idea of the opportunities and answer your questions.
While government hiring can be slow and mysterious – we will aim to make it easier to understand, apply, and keep you updated on the progress of your application.
