The RCMP is transitioning to a hybrid workplace. This may mean different mixes of working from home and from the office at different times. This will enable a workplace that allows for a purposeful presence in the office and room to collaborate.
The immediate need is to staff two positions on an indeterminate basis. One position is English essential, and one position is bilingual imperative BBC/BBC
A pool of qualified candidates may be established to staff temporary and/or permanent positions, (including acting appointments and deployments).
Should a Civilian Member (CM) be found qualified and selected for appointment, the appointment will not result in a change of status to the Public Service (PS) category for the CM. Information regarding the CM appointment will be sent to all applicable candidates who are within the area of selection and participated in the advertised process.

A degree from a recognized post-secondary institution OR an acceptable combination of education, training and /or experience.
Significant experience** developing, writing and executing a wide range of communications products
including but not limited to media releases, speaking notes, internal communications and social media.
Experience providing strategic communications advice and guidance to senior management.
Experience contributing to the development, implementation and management of communications strategies and plans.
**Significant experience refers to the depth and breadth of experience associated with a minimum of three years of experience.
ASSETS
Experience supervising working groups or project teams.
Experience with crisis communications strategies and best practices.

Top Secret security clearance - of the RCMP.
