The immediate need is to staff three indeterminate full-time positions: one position that is English Essential and two positions that are Bilingual Imperative (BBB/BBB). Applicants should be aware that a pool of qualified candidates (fully assessed or partially assessed) may be established and may be used to staff similar positions at this group and level with various language requirements listed in the Language Requirements section. In addition, this process may be used for various tenures (acting appointments, assignment, deployment, indeterminate, specified period, secondment), security requirements and conditions of employment within Health Canada. Experience:
Experience resolving complex* issues while delivering services or programs to clients, stakeholders or to the public.
* Complex is defined as items that could refer to having many dimensions, having significant public visibility, featuring significant involvement by partners or stakeholders, or being financially challenging.
Experience providing recommendations to a supervisor or a manager.
Experience in using software for information processing, tracking or reporting.
Education:
Successful completion of a post-secondary program or an acceptable combination of education, training or experience related to the position, such as an enforcement or an investigative field.
Experience:
Experience working in a regulatory environment.
Experience providing regulatory information and advice to third parties.
Experience in the enforcement of legislation, regulations, policies or directives.
