Education
• Secondary school diploma or an acceptable combination of education, training and/or experience.
Experience
• Experience in providing advice and recommendations regarding Health and Safety issues to management and employees.
• Experience in conducting workplace health and safety inspections, investigations, or risk assessments.
• Experience in the delivery of Health and Safety training sessions.
• Experience in the implementation of strategies, policies, directives, standards, or procedures related to an occupational health and safety program.

• Knowledge of the Canada Labour Code, Part II - Occupational Health and Safety.
• Knowledge of Occupational Health and Safety Act, Regulations, and Directives (provincial or federal).
