👨🎓EDUCATION
⇢Graduation with a degree from a recognized post-secondary institution with acceptable specialization in economics, sociology or statistics.
* Candidates in their final year of studies, and who will be awarded a degree by April 2023, will be considered for entry to the pool. Candidates must always have a degree to be appointed.
Note: The courses for the specialization must be acceptable and may have been taken at a recognized post-secondary institution, but not necessarily within a degree program in the required specialization. The specialization may also be obtained through an acceptable combination of education, training and/or experience.
🧪EXPERIENCE
⇢One year experience* conducting social science research related to assessing the economic or sociological effects of programs, projects or initiatives.
⇢Experience* using at least two different social science methods (e.g., document review, literature review, interviews, surveys, focus groups, case studies, observation) to collect data for social science research.
* Experience can be acquired through work / co-op / internship; or university coursework.

⇢Experience conducting evaluations of programs, projects, policies or initiatives.
⇢Experience using data visualization techniques.
⇢Experience using software to analyze quantitative and/or qualitative data (e.g., SPSS, Nvivo, Tableau).
