Federal Economic Development Agency for Northern Ontario (FedNor) is the Government of Canada's economic development organization for Northern Ontario. Through its programs and services, and through its financial support of projects that lead to job creation and economic growth, FedNor works with businesses and community partners to build a stronger Northern Ontario.
The immediate need is to staff one (1) position with a language requirement of bilingual imperative CBC/CBC on an indeterminate basis.
A pool of qualified and partially qualified candidates may be established and may be used to staff similar positions.
In the event that an employee of the public service is qualified through this process, and there is a temporary need, they may be considered for acting, deployment, assignment or secondment opportunities.

EDUCATION
A secondary school diploma or an acceptable combination of education, training and/or experience.
EXPERIENCE
- Significant* experience providing strategic advice to senior management.
- Significant* experience developing and managing project strategies and plans.
- Significant* experience in managing a budget.
*Significant experience is defined as the depth and breadth of experience normally associated with the performance of those duties on a full-time basis for a cumulative period of approximately two (2) years.
ASSET - EDUCATION
Graduation from a recognized post-secondary institution with a specialization in a field relevant to the duties of the position.
ASSET - EXPERIENCE
- Experience in human resources management.
- Experience with Occupational Health and Safety Laws, Policies or Procedures.
- Experience conducting security audits or incident investigations.
- Experience managing the operation and maintenance activities for assets within a real property organization.
Bilingual - Imperative (CBC/CBC)

ASSESSEMENT INFORMATION
You must meet all essential qualifications in order to be appointed to the position. Other qualifications may be a deciding factor in choosing the person to be appointed.
