Education
• Graduation with a degree from a recognized post-secondary institution in mechanical engineering, civil engineering, electrical engineering, aeronautical engineering, geological engineering, materials or metallurgical engineering, naval architecture or some other engineering specialty relevant to the duties of the position.
Experience
· Initiating, developing and coordinating the establishment and implementation of engineering standards and practices
· Planning and performing development or innovative design work for establishing and maintaining Quality Management Systems (i.e. ISO 9001)
· Preparing detailed reports and project management planning
· Planning and undertaking project management
· Preparing proposals, specifications and process guidelines for systems and facilities
· Managing information processes and databases; implementing document and version control

Occupational Certification
Where occupational certification is required, eligibility for certification as a professional engineer in Canada with specialization in an engineering specialty relevant to the position (some positions may require eligibility for certification as a professional engineer in Canada without regard for the field of specialization).

OPERATIONAL REQUIREMENTS
· Willing and able to work overtime as required and to adopt flexible work hours as per operational requirements
