Education:

Experience:
• Experience in contributing to the design of research experiments, developing projects plans and developing methodologies/tools of field and laboratory experiments.
• Experience in the implementation of goals, assigning staff and allocating work within and across projects.
• Experience in analysis and interpretation of datasets using statistical software.
• Experience in drafting, writing or assisting in the preparation of reports, manuscripts or poster presentations of scientific articles.

Asset Qualifications
Education:
• Successful completion of at minimum a bachelor’s degree from a recognized university in forestry, bio-chemistry, biology, environmental sciences or related field.

• Experience with chemical analyses processes.
Knowledge:
• Knowledge of concepts and methodologies used in applied research.

A variety of assessment tools may be used in the assessment of candidates, such as: written test, practical test, situational exercise, oral interview, simulation, presentation, role-play, work samples, performance appraisals and/or reference checks. Some assessment tools may be administered electronically, others, in-person.
Random selection and/or top-down selection may be used at any time during the process to identify which applicants will be further assessed.
Candidates should be prepared to provide proof of education (copy of degree/diploma) and citizenship or permanent resident status. If you have obtained education outside Canada, you will be required to submit proof of evaluation of Canadian equivalency.
