In order to be considered, your application must clearly explain how you meet the following (essential qualifications)

Education:
Successful completion of two years of an acceptable post-secondary educational program in land management, land use planning, real property management, project management or any other field relevant to the work to be performed OR an acceptable combination of education, training and/or experience defined as successful completion of course work in a field relevant to the work to be performed supplemented by relevant training and/or experience. (You must provide a listing that outlines how you meet this requirement.)

Degree equivalency

Experience:
Experience interpreting and applying legislation, regulations or policy.

Recent** experience in providing specialized information, advice, guidance or recommendations to senior management or various stakeholders.

Significant* and recent** experience in developing and presenting briefing and reporting material on matters to senior management in support of policies, programs or projects.

Experience in reviewing, researching and analysing information.

Experience in the liaison and negotiation with, or on behalf of, a government agency or First Nation.

*Significant is defined as the depth and breadth of experience normally associated with full-time performance of duties for a minimum of two (2) years.
** Recent means experience acquired in the last three (3) years.

Successful completion of a post-secondary degree in one of the following areas: land use planning, real property management, environmental management, natural resource management, physical geography, project management, public administration, business administration, or other specialization related to the work to be performed.

Degree equivalency

Experience in the administration, negotiation, monitoring and compliance of real property dispositions.

Experience managing First Nation reserve lands.

Experience in land management.

Knowledge of project management principles and processes.

Knowledge of Additions to Reserve/Reserve Creation legislation
