POSITION LOCATION:
This position is located in Ottawa; however, the successful candidate may work from one of the OSFI offices across Canada (Toronto, Montreal, Ottawa, or Vancouver).

As a result of the global pandemic, OSFI employees are currently working from home. Duties

Responsible for the following in relation to technology a defined set of technology platforms and related tools used to deliver value-added capabilities to OSFI:
- Managing the on-going operations of the platforms
- Providing expert advice to IM/IT subject matter specialists, management, and committees as a recognized authority
- Providing guidance and keep documentation up to date on the common usage patterns for the platforms and related tools as it relates to OSFI’s environment.
- Champion Community of Practice type forum(s) as appropriate in order to reinforce a culture of collaboration and continuous learning.
- Monitoring the vendor’s product roadmap, evaluating the impact to OSFI of changes to the roadmap, and reporting on these changes as appropriate within IMIT

Each position to be filled by this process will have a distinct set of technology platforms included in their portfolio:
- Position 1 – Platforms in the data and analytics digital theme, including but not limited to Power BI, Azure Data Factory, Azure Data Bricks, Azure Synapse.
- Position 2 – Platforms in the case management digital theme, including but not limited to Dynamics 365, Power Automate, Power Apps, Azure Logic Apps.

ESSENTIAL EDUCATION:
- University degree from a recognized institution with specialization in Business, Information Technology, or Computer Science; or an acceptable combination of education, training and experience.

- Significant experience** in using platform-based software (including cloud services) to deliver software solutions to business stakeholders.
