POSITION LOCATION:
This position is located in Ottawa, however, the successful candidate may work from the Ottawa, Montreal or Toronto office.

The Manager, Pensions Systems Cloud Transition within the Private Pension Plans Division (PPPD) will be responsible for ensuring the effective transformation of PPPD’s pension systems from the business perspective in order that information gathered from federally regulated private pension plans is properly managed and can be analysed. The Manager, Pensions Systems Cloud Transition will be responsible for managing the business requirements, and other project documentation to ensure clear communication of PPPD’s business user needs to IM/IT. This position will work closely with IM/IT to ensure that proposed options and functionality meet requirements, as well as work on the implementation of the proposed solution, including the change management strategy.

ESSENTIAL EDUCATION
• A degree from a post-secondary institution in business, commerce, finance, mathematics, accounting, computer science, information technology, information management or another relevant field OR an acceptable combination of education and experience.
ESSENTIAL EXPERIENCE
• Recent* and significant** experience working with or managing a transformative technology or data and analytics-related project involving a diverse set of stakeholders.
• Recent* and significant** experience working collaboratively with business partners to understand, analyse, articulate user requirements and business processes and recommend solutions to senior management***.
* Recent is defined as experience acquired in the last five (5) years.
** Significant is defined as the depth and breadth of experience that is normally acquired by continuously exercising the functions for a period of at least two (2) years.
*** Depending on the organizational structure, senior management could mean such levels of management as the executive group or employees at the director level and above.
ASSET CERTIFICATION
• Professional certification in a relevant area such as Certificate in Business Analysis and/or Certified Business Analysis Professional (CBAP); Certification of Competency in Business Analysis (CCBA); Project Management Professional certification OR other relevant certification.
ASSET EXPERIENCE
• Experience with Microsoft Dynamics CRM.
