Intent of the process

This process will be used to staff one (1) indeterminate position, and to create a pool of fully or partially qualified candidates that may be used to staff similar positions at an identical or equivalent group and level with various languages proficiencies (Bilingual Imperative BBB/BBB, Bilingual Imperative BBC/BBC, Bilingual Imperative CBC/CBC and Bilingual Imperative CCC/CCC), various security profiles and various tenures using various staffing activities for positions within Health Canada. Education:

A secondary school diploma or an acceptable combination of education, training and/or experience.

ASSET QUALIFICATIONS

Education:

Graduation with a degree or diploma from a recognized post-secondary institution with an acceptable specialization in: Business, Administration, Marketing, Project Management, Organizational Development, Human Resources, Labour Relations, Organizational Behavior, Psychology, Social Work, Counselling.

Degree equivalency

Experience:

Experience in providing advice to senior management*.
*Senior management is defined as two supervisory levels above your position (i.e. the person your manager/supervisor reports to).

Knowledge:

Knowledge of the National Standard for Psychological Health and Safety in the Workplace.
Knowledge of the Access to Information and Privacy Act.
Knowledge of Informal Conflict Management processes.

OPERATIONAL REQUIREMENTS

Willingness and ability to travel across Canada.
Willingness and ability to work overtime on occasion.

12. Candidates must meet the essential qualifications to be appointed to a position.
