This position is located in Toronto; however, the successful candidate may work from one of the OSFI offices across Canada (Toronto, Montreal, Ottawa, or Vancouver).

Duties

What you will be doing:
- Develop and maintain strategic relationships with stakeholders to ensure cooperative and agile approach to articulating business requirements, business process pain points and desired outcomes;
- Provide support to internal clients and external partners, by assessing business requirements and/or use requests;
- Provide project management leadership on new initiatives;
- Provide support for the implementation of the IM/IT Strategy, the identification and implementation of process improvements behind OSFI’s cloud adoption and digitization activities;
- Provide day-to-day direction/assistance to users in understanding their current and future business processes and business analysis best practices;
- Keep up-to-date with business analysis best practices that will support agile and effective technology adoption at OSFI;
- Build and maintain effective communications with internal and external stakeholders;
- Apply strong analytical and interviewing skills as they pertain to business and process re-design;
- Provide business analysis expertise to business partner operations, including identifying opportunities for process improvement (e.g. streamline review and approval processes), process documentation, process mapping, procedure documentation, clarification and documentation of roles and responsibilities.

As a Separate Agency, the Office of the Superintendent of Financial Institutions (OSFI) appoints employees in accordance with the Public Service Employment Act (PSEA). OSFI is named in Schedule V of the Financial Administration Act (FAA) and it offers the same pension and benefits plans as the core Federal Public Service. In addition to this, OSFI employees obtain a minimum of 4 weeks of vacation leave per year, earn a competitive salary, and are eligible for an annual performance bonus.
