Intent of the process

Anticipatory Staffing - The intent of the process is to establish a pool of qualified candidates at the PO-IMA-02 group/level, only for temporary vacancies of six (6) months or less. When you apply to this selection process, you are not applying for a specific job, but to an inventory for future vacancies.

Casual employment is temporary employment of 90 working days or less in a calendar year, to meet needs for temporary vacancies arising from vacation, sick leave, training, special projects, etc.

Should a CM be found qualified and selected for appointment, the appointment will not result in a change of status to another category for the member. Notification regarding the CM appointment will be sent to all applicable candidates who are within the area of selection and participated in the advertised process.

► Experience applying the Criminal Code, such as Part VI pertaining to the interception of telecommunications.
