This position supports the financial management and financial accounting functions of the Agency, ensuring effective and efficient support and delivery of financial services to all Agency branches and employees.

We are seeking to staff one (1) indeterminate (permanent) position.
This selection process may be used to establish a pool of qualified candidates, which could be used to staff similar or identical positions with various linguistic profiles and requirements, security profiles and various tenures.

EDUCATION
Successful completion of two years of post-secondary education in accounting or finance or an acceptable combination of education, training and/or experience.
EXPERIENCE
Significant* experience in three (3) or more of the following:
• Processing accounts receivable or accounts payable transactions.
• Verifying the accuracy and the integrity of financial coding.
• Processing financial transactions using SAP.
• Preparing journal entries.
• Providing guidance on accounting policies and procedures to clients.
Definition:
* Significant is defined as the depth and breadth of experience normally associated with full-time performance of duties for a period of approximately two years.
EXPERIENCE
Experience reviewing and processing travel expense reports using the Government of Canada’s Shared Travel System (STS).
Bilingual - Imperative (BBB/BBB)

As per the new FCAC Policy on COVID-19 Vaccination, employees must attest to their vaccination status.
