VACCINATION:
On October 6, 2021, the Government of Canada announced details of its plans to require vaccination across the federal public service.
As per the new Policy on COVID-19 Vaccination for the Core Public Administration Including the Royal Canadian Mounted Police, federal public servants in the Core Public Administration and members of the RCMP must attest to their vaccination status. The requirement for employees to be fully vaccinated applies whether they are teleworking, working remotely or working on-site. This is a condition of employment and it applies to indeterminate (permanent), determinate (term), casual, and student hiring. Should you reach the point in the selection process where it is necessary to verify terms and conditions of employment then the hiring manager or a human resources representative will contact you in order to complete an attestation.
The intent of this process is to establish a pool of partially qualified candidates that will be used to staff identical or similar positions within Public Services and Procurement Canada with various linguistic profiles, various security profiles, various tenure or various locations across Canada.
This pool will also be shared with other organizations within the core public administration (http://www.psc-cfp.gc.ca/plcy-pltq/rfli-lirf/index-eng.htm) in order to facilitate appointments of candidates from the pool to their respective organizations.

EDUCATION
Graduation with a degree* from a recognized post-secondary institution with acceptable specialization in accounting, business administration, commerce, finance or some other specialty relevant to the position.
NOTE: When education is required, candidates must always have a university degree. However, the courses for the specialization do not necessarily have to be part of a program of studies leading to a degree in the required field of expertise; specialization may also be obtained through an acceptable combination of education, training and/or experience.
PROFESSIONAL ACCOUNTING DESIGNATION
A recognized accounting designation (CPA CA, CPA CMA, CPA CGA or CPA)
EXPERIENCES
Significant* and recent ** experience in the use of an electronic spreadsheet and in the compilation of a variety of accounting and financial data.
Significant* and recent ** experience in the preparation of various accounting and financial analyses.
Significant* and recent ** experience in self-revision and subsequent adjustments to be made to accounting and financial data.
*Significant experience is defined as the depth and breadth of experience normally acquired with the full-time performance of a range of duties for a period of approximately three (3) years.
**Recent is defined as experience acquired within the last five (5) years

EXPERIENCE
Experience in using tools to collect, image, manage, analyze, summarize or illustrate data such as data extraction software, Adobe Acrobat or CaseWare Idea.
Practical experience in forensic accounting.
