This position will include general molecular biology lab assistance including but not limited to DNA extraction, electrophoresis, and PCR. The student will work on a number of projects to complete analysis of samples in preparation for sequencing and qPCR.
Some barn work maybe required, including assistance in collecting samples. Students should be comfortable working around animals, and with strong odors.
Laboratories at the Sherbrooke-RDC in Lennoxville, possible work in lab at barn. Student cannot work remotely.

Currently enrolled in Cegep or in a bachelor’s program at a Canadian post-secondary academic institution.
Note: Must be currently recognized as having full-time student status in the academic institution in which you are presently enrolled and must be returning to full-time studies for your next academic term.
