The Dissemination division is looking for dynamic people to join our team! The division is responsible for disseminating a variety of web products, as well as, providing customer service to our internal clients.

This process is intended to staff a Senior Dissemination Officer positions at the GT-03 group and level and a Dissemination Advisor positions at the GT-04 group and level.
A pool of fully or partially qualified candidates may be established through this process to staff identical or similar positions with various tenures, linguistic requirements, security requirements, conditions of employment and locations.
Employees at level could be considered first for deployment opportunities and employees who are members of the following Employment Equity groups: Aboriginal persons, persons with disabilities, visible minorities, women could be considered first for appointment.

EDUCATION
GT-03 and GT-04:
Successful completion of two years of a post-secondary program in a field related to the position or an acceptable combination of education, training and/or experience.
EXPERIENCE
GT-03 and GT-04
EX1: Experience in analyzing clients' requirements, providing advice and participating in client meetings.
EX2: Experience in conducting quality control measures of new and modified web documents.
EX3: Experience in creating various web products (portals, web forms, HTML pages, InDesign PDF documents, videos, etc.) for the purpose of electronic dissemination.
GT-04 only
EX4: Experience acting as a project lead for larger web projects
EX5: Experience training staff on various web processes and procedures

On October 6, 2021, the Government of Canada announced details of its plans to require vaccination across the federal public service.
As per the new Policy on COVID-19 Vaccination for the Core Public Administration Including the Royal Canadian Mounted Police, federal public servants in the Core Public Administration and members of the RCMP must attest to their vaccination status. The requirement for employees to be fully vaccinated applies whether they are teleworking, working remotely or working on-site. This is a condition of employment and it applies to indeterminate (permanent), determinate (term), casual, and student hiring. Should you reach the point in the selection process where it is necessary to verify terms and conditions of employment then the hiring manager or a human resources representative will contact you in order to complete an attestation.
Persons are entitled to participate in the appointment process in the official language of their choice.
The assessment board may assess qualifications using telephone interview, a virtual interview, written tests, references or a combination of these or other assessment methods. Other sources of information (such as performance evaluation, work samples, board member knowledge) may be used to inform the assessment of the criteria identified on the Statement of Merit Criteria.
Your responses to screening questions may be used to assess the Ability to communicate effectively in writing.
Our intention is to communicate with candidates via email. Candidates should check their emails regularly, as there may be new communications regarding this process. Candidates must include a valid email address, and make sure that this address is functional and accepts messages from unknown users.
Candidates may be required to meet the asset qualifications depending on the requirements of the specific position being staffed. Other qualifications may be taken into consideration in the selection decision.
A random selection and/or top-down selection may be used at any moment of the process to manage the number of candidates; and/or a volume management strategy may be used at any point during the process, in order to determine the number of candidates to be further considered.
Please note that assessments will only be rescheduled under exceptional circumstances (proof required).
Preference will be given to veterans first and then to Canadian citizens and permanent residents, with the exception of a job located in Nunavut, where Nunavut Inuit will be appointed first.
