Duties

In support of lab-based programs, the incumbent will assist and support in the performance of basic lab analyses. The work will include preparing reagents, following standard operating procedures, keeping accurate records, care and maintenance of equipment and facilities, etc. The incumbent will work with the team to maintain a safe working environment.

Experience providing technical support in a research or laboratory environment.
Experience preparing samples in a laboratory setting (e.g., soil and plant extractions and digestions).

Post-secondary certificate, diploma or degree from a recognized institution with a specialization in chemistry, soil science, biology, agriculture, or a related field.
