The Canada Border Services Agency (CBSA) is Canada's second largest law enforcement organization, working 24/7 to protect Canada's borders by preventing high-risk people and goods from crossing into Canada while facilitating legitimate trade and travel, with over 15,000 employees working across Canada.
This inventory is for casual employment. Casual employment is temporary employment of 90 working days or less in a calendar year, to meet needs for temporary vacancies arising from vacation, sick leave, training, special projects, etc. Casual appointees will not be eligible to apply to internal appointment processes. Casual positions will be located at Calgary International Airport and its surrounding commercial offices only. These positions staffed will be for various clerical and administrative (CR-04) duties within the District.

Successful completion of two years of secondary school or an acceptable combination of education, training and/or experience (see Note 1).
Note:
1) The combination of education, training, and/or experience must always be included whenever this standard is required for staffing positions in the CR group.
Candidates who have been appointed or deployed for an indeterminate period to a position in the CR group must always be accepted as meeting the requirement for two years of secondary school.
Experience in providing administrative support services in an office environment. (e.g. purchasing offices supplies, receiving goods, entering data, managing correspondence, archiving documents, etc.).
Experience in providing client service to the public as well as internal clients.

• Reliability Status security clearance.
• Possession and maintenance a valid driver's license (or personal mobility usually associated with having a driver's license).
• Willingness to operate a government vehicle.
• Willingness to undertake job-related travel with advance notice.
• Willingness to work various shifts, including evening and weekends.
• Willingness to work overtime as required, which may include weekends and statutory holidays.
• Ability to lift and/or carry up to 25 kg.
