Education:
Graduation with a degree from a recognized post-secondary institution in a field related to the position or an acceptable combination of education, training and/or experience.

Degree equivalency

Experience:
Experience in French language editing of texts for various audiences.
Experience providing advice to clients and/or senior management on written communication.
Experience in English-to-French comparative editing of texts for various audiences.
Experience carrying out grammatical and terminological research using terminology banks and other language tools.

• Significant* experience in English – French translation.
• Significant* experience in editing French-language texts.
• Significant* experience writing documents in plain language (such as web content, communications products, reports, and/or technical, regulatory and scientific documents).
• Experience in English-to-French comparative editing of translated regulatory and scientific documents.

*Significant means at least two years of experience.
