Real Property Operations (detachment Gagetown) maintains all infrastructure (buildings, roads, sidewalks, structures, air fields, etc) at CFB Gagetown. As the CFB Gagetown Wastewater Treatment Plant Supervisor, you will be responsible for the operation of a plant processing approximately 1,750,000 m3 of wastewater per year and deserving approximately 12,000 users at CFB Gagetown and the town of Oromocto. This includes mainly the supervision of 8 employees, maintenance required for the plant and following up with compliance applicable to the plant.

Your résumé.
Provincially recognized Class 3 Water and Wastewater Operator Certification
Significant (approximately five years) experience in Wastewater Treatment plant operations.
Significant (approximately three years) of supervisory experience.
Experience using computer automated monitoring equipment, such as Supervisory Control & Data Acquisition (SCADA).
Experience in the repair and maintenance of mechanical equipment such as pumps, valves, compressors, air blowers, traveling screens.
Experience using Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel and Outlook)
English essential

OPERATIONAL REQUIREMENTS:
Must be able and willing to travel as required by the employer.
Must be willing to have a pre-approved Health Canada medical assessment to indicate fitness and ability to wear and work in a Self-Contained Breathing Apparatus (SCBA).
Reliability Status security clearance
• All employees of the core public administration are required to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19, unless accommodated based on a medical contraindication, religion, or another prohibited ground for discrimination as defined under the Canadian Human Rights Act and attest to their vaccination status

• Must be willing and able to obtain and maintain a DND 404 driving permit.

• Must be able and willing to work in extreme weather conditions; work in confined spaces; work at heights and from ladders and scaffolding; and perform heavy lifting tasks
• Must be able and willing to wear all appropriate personal protective equipment.
