As a Food Service Helper, you will be part of the team that assists in the preparation of meals, as well as the delivery of food products to clients in a dining room and serving areas. Your résumé.
Depending on the position being staffed, any of the following qualifications may be deemed as essential requirements:
A secondary school diploma.
Training or certification in Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS).
Experience working in a commercial, institutional or food service setting, including meal preparation.
Experience in providing customer service.
Experience working or volunteering in a mixed civilian and military environment.
Experience in handling cash, performing cashier duties or operating a Point of Sale Terminal (POST).
Ability to perform basic math.
Operational Requirements
Depending upon the position to be staffed one or more of the following requirements may apply:
Must be willing and able to work a shift schedule including evenings, weekends and holidays.
Must be willing and able to work overtime.
Must be willing and able to wear and utilize Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) in compliance with safety regulations.
Must be willing and able to lift, push, pull, and carry up to 20 kg.
